The Apartments At Sunset

Could not recommend living here enough. Only had to move out for a career change. The property is well-maintained, when I had to submit a maintenance request my issues were addressed the same day, the gym is kept up, the pool and leasing office are clean, numerous amenities, staff is responsive, communication is incredible, there are always resident events being put on, and the units itself are nice and consistently being upgraded. Bonus: located in the heart of Downtown Frederick, beautiful neighborhood, directly across from a shopping complex & grocery store, FCPS-MD, within walking distance of a college & hospital. Great value. Never had a “bad neighbor.”

My dog and I lived there for 3 years in a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment and thought it was great. I moved because I purchased a condo. The staff was friendly and were always planning things for the community. Maintenance was always timely. My AC went out on Friday late afternoon in July one year, and they responded quickly and had it working by that evening. The neighbors in my building were friendly and had no issues with anyone.

The leasing office and maintenance team are super friendly and welcoming. The community is maintained beautifully and the dog park is a personal favorite. My son enjoys the dog friendly clubhouse that offers foosball, darts, gym, and a nice open sitting area with huge tv and coffee bar. The pool deck is decorated with flowers and ready to open. We have exceptional neighbors and couldn’t be happier here. Bonus: CVS, Common Market, and Starbucks a very close walk from us.

We're on our second year at this apartment complex and we've had a great experience. We've lived in several states at multiple rental units and we've been very happy with the apartment grounds, the response time from maintenance, the friendliness of the staff, the available amenities, and the fact that all of our neighbors know us and say hi every time they see us. This is the type of place where a neighbor offered up a hand with no hesitation when I was struggling with too many boxes to carry over to my apartment. It's also just a great location - it's easy for us to walk over to the grocery store with our kids as a family.

I appreciate Kristina, Evan, and Savannah throughout my time there. They were very helpful. The maintenance team was always responsive the next day if there was an issue.
