The Alexander at South Virginia

I moved out over a month ago, and they just gave me the break on my deposit. They kept $1,300 and want me to pay them another $23.14. Someone very close to me works there, and he told me my apartment was perfect and didn't need much repair.

I absolutely love it at the Alexander. The office is prompt and though I haven’t had many issues if I have a question or concern it’s addressed quickly. The apartment itself is spacious and clean with minimal noise around. The apartment complex sends tons of communications regarding projects being done or anything I need to be aware of. I’ve seen reviews mentioning a million violation emails however I have never had to deal with these because I quite simply follow the basic directions in my lease. I know others on site who have never had issues either so it seems more like the problem children are outing themselves. I've been living here for a few months and it is hands down the nicest and most professionally managed place I've lived. The amenities are first class and well maintained, the entire complex and its facilities are truly clean, and the staff are all very nice. I've lived a lot of places around the country and this community is special. Side note, a part of running a large property at this level is the ability to be consistent and make difficult decisions that apply to everyone. Oftentimes this means someone will be upset, but most folks will appreciate the hard work. The proof is in the quality of the property and its people over the long term. Anyone would be lucky to live here.
