The Alder on Dabney

I’ve been at the Alder for almost half a year now and I have to say it’s been one of the most pleasant experiences. Maintenance is always quick once you submit a service ticket. The staff here are also great and have planned a bunch of fun events for residents to enjoy. Some of my favorites have been the candle making, waffle bar, and most recently blind date with a book.

I’ve had such a great experience living here! The location is great, especially with how close it is to Scott’s Addition. Shanice and Ana are always welcoming, helpful, and truly the best (as well as the rest of the team). Will from maintenance is fantastic, super responsive, and quick to help whenever needed. The amenities are great, the community events are genuinely fun, and I absolutely love my apartment. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Honestly I cannot say enough about my living experience at the Alder. The staff go above and beyond for their residents. They were super helpful with move in, answering questions, and solving maintenance issues quickly. The resident events are ACTUALLY fun and a good chance to meet other residents. Minutes away from Scott's addition, a great location without being IN the city. Shopping centers very close by. Brand new appliances and incredible amenities. Pictures clubroom and sky lounge pictures don't do it justice!

We moved in awhile ago, we had a request to move a towel rack in our bathroom. Will the maintenance man was super accommodating, moved the racks for us and patched the holes left behind. Excellent!

0/10 - would not live here again. I lived in a unit with unresolved pest, water intrusion, and mold issues until I was forced to initiate a move. These problems were ongoing and not adequately addressed. During my tenancy, a stranger was allowed into my apartment without my knowledge or consent for an undisclosed amount of time. Multiple residents reported being subjected to racial slurs. Despite management stating the individual would be evicted, they continue to reside in the building. Most concerning: during my third month of a federal layoff with zero income, management communicated that unless my situation was “life or death,” I would still be required to pay 4 of my remaining 5 months of rent in order to leave. This was presented alongside statements of “understanding” and “care”
