Terrace Homes

We built a Terrace home and I waited 6 months to give an honest review. We custom designed our home we did not pick from the models.. They have been fantastic! They let us view each step of the process. Exciting to watch your home be built! The home is beautiful. They will take care of any issue you have. They stand by their product 100%!! Ruth, Mark, Katie, Matt, Misty and Rhonda have all went out of their way to see we were satisfied. We would do it all again in a heartbeat!! We checked the workmanship and homes from many companies and we are so glad we went with Terrace. You get a quality home at a competitive price.. 5 stars all the way. The properties were beautiful and exceptional! However the plans that they have drawn up should be allowed to be altered and not a mandatory packaging bid. I mean, what if you don't want the center Island in the kitchen, what if you would rather put a furnace or a water heater in a closet that you know you won't use, why is it mandatory to install a basement if all you need is a simple crawl space. The lowest priced house was $200,000. I could easily go without some of the features and cut cost to make affordable living for all

Great experience with our home. Sarah has been wonderful to work with and we love our new house! The model village is great for getting ideas but it's nice that everything can be completely customized once you decide on things you like. Sarah was very prompt at responding to emails and questions, which we had a lot of!

Nice houses, pricing averages a little high for modular builds. Design looks and functional features are nice but each model home has a few things that just do not make sense. Areas of wasted space in smaller home designs. Quality seems good.

So let's get something straight, I don't give a crap about some unreturned phone call, or if Terrace builds in your area, or whatever!!!! Are the Terrace builds "solid and quality" is the question??? And I say ABSOLUTELY!!!! I live in a Terrace home, built in 2006 in a subdivision that went bankrupt and i can say 100% that this is one of the best built houses I've ever lived in. I've lived in 8 since childhood, custom built ones at that, since I've been a kid. This house is damn near bombproof...... It has 2"x12" floor joists with 1" subfloor, 2"x6" walls, full insulation, weather shield wrap, good vinyl windows, good flooring, good doors, a solid roof. Did we have some settling cracks, YES!!!!!
