Terrace Heights Apartments

I’ve lived at Terrace Heights since August of 2023. I really love our place. We had trouble finding a place bc of credit and this was the only place that worked with us to get us into a nice place. We moved into a totally renovated and updated two bedroom apartment. We have had some issues with things needing to be fixed however when you call the front office they put in a work order and maintenance is here usually that day if not first thing the next. We have had a couple things we had to call more than once for but with both issues the ladies in the front office and maintenance gave us permanent resolutions to the problem! The property is clean and the grounds maintained! Over all it has been a great place to live for my little families first apartment in Killeen! We have had no problems

I would give this place zero stars if possible. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE. I rented a 2 bedroom for my mother from July 2021 to July 2022. In a 12 month term we had 36 issues with the apartment. Issues such as mice, cockroaches, front door would not close, front door would not lock, pipes breaking, AC leaking, upstairs neighbor flooded their bathroom which flooded my mothers apt. In the water events, zero cleanup was offered and then when I moved her out, we were charged for the carpets being water damaged. With regards to mice, they will just put down 3 traps on the first 2 complaints. On the 3rd complaint, the maintenance guy will attempt to find where they are coming in and tell you to buy sticky traps. First, this place is great for people who worry about getting qualified for an apartment due to credit, income, etc. However, my experience here has been disappointing. The only people who I can say do a great job are the workers who maintain the facilities. Other than that management treats people here like they don’t matter. They charge for every single thing yet the floors are worn and the facilities need help. Its like the projects but with manners. If you come here please save up and work your way up to finding a better place that is worth your money and fees that make sense.

The staff was always reliable, caring, and friendly. Absolutely loved my stay, if I needed something things we’re done professionally and in a timely manner. It’s quiet and clean with friendly neighbors. Adequate prices for a reasonably size room. I would recommend this to anyone looking for those qualities.

These apartments are over priced and under maintenance. The parking is terrible. I've been here since March 2020 and the anthurium have been unavailable 90% of them time. Even after covid when everyone else had a pool they refused to open theirs. Then when they finally did this year. They had no tables and chairs. Can't go with food and drinks. If you have an 18 yr old child they can't take your 16 to swim if your not there. They will add the charge for replacement blinds without no warning if they walk by and see a rip but won't fix things on the inside that really matter. They have raised my rent at every reveal without offering anything new.
