Teakwood Gardens Apartments

Karina (Teakwood manager) told me that she would give me a call once she received my check for the security deposit. I gave her a month to call me, but she never did, so I gave her a call myself. She had told me that they still haven't receive my check because my check was one of the three that had some sort of issue and miscommunication with it and again would let me know once they receive it. She never clarified or thoroughly explained the issue to me. A few more week passed by, still nothing. I called them back and Karina said that they're still waiting on it. I asked for corporate's number and Karina said they weren't allowed to provide that for me. Not to mention, when I called back again, the phone number was disconnected. OKAY place. Not superb, yet not horrific either. $730 for a 2bd ($300 for deposit; rent charges after your lease is due). All ceramic tile floors throughout No carpet :( . . . I mean, some are good, but some are just too bad annoying). Always smells like weed each week from different neighbors -_- Haven't heard of any robberies within the apt, but there's always cop cars within the block.
