Taylor Way Apartments

This place has a lot of issues, but for the past six months, one stands out more than any other. The complex has been infested with flocks of birds. Not a few. Hundreds of thousands of birds. Every surface outside is covered in bird poop. You're lucky if you can run inside your apartment without one dropping a present on your head. All the sidewalks are white. It covers cars, patios, trees, children's toys, the playground, everything. When it rains it gets wet and oozes all over. When it's dry, it turns to dust and blows around in clouds. Park your clean car here and within 12 hours it will be so disgusting that you can't touch the door handle to get in. See the photo I posted. The entire complex reeks of bird feces. I just love Ms. Sherri. She’s been nothing but super sweet and very understanding. She’s definitely the best landlord you could ever have. . . Any problems I had with anything was always resolved same day. My overall experience as a tenant at Taylor Way Apartments has been so amazing. The complex is so peaceful and quiet. Taylor Way is well maintained and kept up, the neighbors are very friendly and made me feel welcomed the day I moved in. . .I have no complaints at all. Great experience! You won’t regret it :)

I lived here for about three years total with a two year gap in between. I came back to rent because I absolutely loved these apartments. The staff was always very nice and helpful, even after the office staff changed I could always count on them to listen to me. Maintenance was very timely, I never had to wait more than a day for trivial things. The second time I moved in, I was leaving a difficult situation and the staff made the transition so easy. My neighbors were great, I’m still in contact with some of them! The grounds were nice and well kept, sometimes the grass got a little high in the summer but nothing too crazy. If you want your doors locked on you your before your lease even ends, and you pay all your bills early. Then this is the place for you! Terrible management and maintenance. My stove hasn’t worked on one side since I moved in. My dish washer caught my dishes on fire. There mold in all the vents, showers, toilets etc.

There’s a lease that states there is to be nothing on the front porches and I get wrote up for having a mat on my front porch but there’s people that have toys and junk on their front porch. I left a plate of cookies on my dining room table and the manager told me that I needed to do better on keeping my house cleaned and wrote me up. The manager is racist and very mean. I can’t even keep my blinds opened in my child’s room without being wrote up. It was a bad mistake moving in these apartments. There is people that ride four wheelers on the grass and I can’t even play with my kids at the park after a certain time. There’s a whole in my ceiling and we have told the manager multiple times and it hadn’t been fixed. There’s a leak in my bathroom that hasn’t been fixed. It definitely isn’t wor
