Tapestry West

I recently toured Tapestry West, and I was really impressed. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel at ease and get a sense of what I was looking for in an apartment. The complex itself is gorgeous—modern finishes, spacious floor plans, and top-notch amenities. I especially liked the resort-style pool area, the fitness center with updated equipment, and the cozy resident lounge spaces that make it feel more like a community than just an apartment complex. The hallways and common areas were spotless, and the attention to detail in the model apartment really stood out. Alejandro was fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and patient with all my questions. Honestly, if the rent prices were a bit lower, it would have five stars, but I honestly have to say the tour I had here was absolutely amazing. I wish shout out the staff member to help me out, but I did not get her permission. She was absolutely amazing though. Beautiful balconies. This is in a great area and definitely wanted to check out most update appliances a technology I have seen in an apartment complex.

I recently toured Tapestry West Apartments with Alejandro, and he was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. From the moment I reached out, he was quick to respond, patient with all my questions, and very knowledgeable about the property. He took the time to explain the different floor plans, pricing, and move-in promotions, which made the application process smooth and stress free.

Love this place! Erik and Selena have been so helpful with the move in process. The service you get here is exceptional. Erik took the time to make a personal walk through video of my unit before move in. It feels like i’m living at a luxury hotel with all of the amenities. My favorite one is the fire pit. I work from home and love that the units have network ports in each room. Edit: I met Ashley at the front office to turn in paperwork and it was a delight. It was at the end of the business day but she still took the time to smile and make sure my move is going smoothly. Maintenance was very prompt at resolving an issue I had with the back door. They do great work! This is by far the most well maintained place I’ve lived.

The 2-star rating is not a reflection of the property itself—the community is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, my experience with the tour agent, Alejandro, was extremely disappointing. At the start of the tour, he was disengaged and made me feel as though I did not belong. His demeanor only changed after he learned about my profession and that I am a homeowner in the West End of Henrico. I also mentioned that I am downsizing now that I’m an empty nester, and only then did he begin to show genuine interest. Upon my arrival, he was curt, handed me a fee sheet without walking through a single item, and stated bluntly that residents must make three times the rent—delivered in a tone that felt dismissive and unwelcoming.
