Tamarack Creek Apartments

I’ve lived here for about four years and I think it’s a good place to live. I moved into a newly refurbished apartment back then and my appliances still work perfectly. My maintenance requests and issues are always fixed promptly. Each apartment has its own AC unit and water heater. It’s also pet friendly and I remember that moving in was an easy process. My neighbors in my building are all courteous and friendly. The washer and dryer in my building always worked great, and when they have had issues, they were fixed or replaced quickly. The location is also unbeatable. There is a nice park across the street if you have children, and Kroger and tons of shopping is only 5-10 minutes away.

Despite other reviews, I had a fantastic experience living at Tamarack Creek. The area is very convenient and the complex itself is very safe and I never had any safety concerns for it being located in almost the heart of Toledo. Sara is wonderful and her management skills are exemplary! Every problem/complaint we had was taken care of in a timely manner and with the upmost professionalism. We had an ongoing issue with a neighbor and she was very helpful mediating the issue and it was put to an end. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to move. It was my first apartment and I loved every moment living here. It was sad to leave because it always felt like home!

I left a review a month ago about a few CONS I had with maintenance and simply just quality of life. It took them forever to fix 1 of those issues, which was the washing machine that needed to be replaced. My partner & I put in a work order for them to come & fix our window that was broken due to poor installation. They sent someone out 2-3 days later to just take a look. Both guys came into my apartment for less than 10 minutes and said since the window shop was close, they’ll have to come back on Monday. That was a Thursday and before 2pm so why the window shop was close on a Thursday ? Idk, maybe negligence. Also this was inspected a week before this snow storm that we have going on. 2-3 days ago we got an email saying that they’ll be working on “exit” signs in the hallway but couldn’t

Terrible place. Terrible manners. My boyfriend put a work order in for our heat that barely works ! Long story short, the guy came to fix it and as he was leaving, he double lock the door (deadbolt) knowing we can’t access it from the outside. We weren’t inside when this took place. Now literally at this moment, I’m unable to go into my apartment because of this shit. We called and no help. This place is ridiculous and unbelievable disgusting. Not to mention. In the hallway where I am currently at, a resident left their underwear out and have not taken it up within 2 days. My boyfriend have left reviews and even emailed. The washing machine also doesn’t work.

Coming from the Dominican Republic, a third-world country, I can say this place reminds me a lot of home—and for all the wrong reasons. Running water feels like a luxury, since almost every week there’s an “urgent” and nearly unannounced shut-off. People do whatever they want, which is why the dumpsters are always overflowing and the property looks like a garbage field. Appliances are either already broken or on the verge of it—the dryer downstairs had been banging loudly every time it was used since I moved in, shaking my living room, and now both the dryer and washing machine have been out of service for about two weeks. Even with a tow truck patrolling, residents park however they please, making the parking lot a nightmare to navigate. The building itself has weak foundations—every tim
