Talon Hills by Graham Hart Home Builder

I was extremely happy to purchase a home from Graham Hart as the design of the homes is lovely. Also Peggy, the sales manager at Talon Hills is amazing and made the buying process so easy! However, over the past year and a half we’ve learned that the quality of the homes in Talon Hills are not what you would expect. Almost all neighbors that I’ve spoken with, either in person or on the Talon Hills Facebook page have improper grading and subsequent property drainage issues, some directly causing foundation issues. I noted our property grading and drainage prior to closing on the house and it took numerous follow ups and complaints over a year for Graham Hart to take action. Graham Hart makes beautiful homes, but our foundation is compromised, and a structural engineer is recommending that piers be installed ASAP to stop any further foundation movement. Though they have been easy to communicate with about simple issues, they are suddenly difficult to communicate with on this. I really wish I could give more stars because Graham Hart's designs are nice, the neighborhood setting is gorgeous, and they have often provided good customer service. But our home's foundation is showing serious signs of potential failure at just 2 years old, and Graham Hart has been dismissive or unresponsive to our foundation concerns. This is especially concerning to me because I have repeatedly questioned the way they designed the foundation and the surrounding soil on our lot. In

Graham Hart is a wonderful home builder. My husband and I closed on our home in Talon Hills in July of 2021. As with any builder we experienced some smal delays, but that is to be expected especially with the shortages in materials. They were very easy to work with and tried to help in any way they could! I work with a ton of builders and their quality of workmanship is much greater than so many I see on a daily basis. I would gladly build with them again in the future!

I wish I had done more research on this builder. This is our third build and unfortunately not the last. This house plan is everywhere, I mean across the street from us, on the corners from us, either the same elevation or different elevation. Never lived in a community where they allowed the same house to be so close, I hate that, and on top of that I'm realizing we don't have everything we need in this home like a linen closet, and mud locker which we needed, but with the builder we didn't have any options to upgrade and this tiny porch we couldn't upgrade that either. Will be selling next year!!! I just hope it sells. Oh and warranty doesn't fix anything, whenever we call, they always say wait another year or its not covered.

The team at Graham Hart is great! From the first day we looked at the model to the completion of our home, they were very attentive and easy to work with. The neighborhood they have built is fantastic. I highly recommend anyone to buy from the Graham Hart team.
