Tall Grass Apartments

I lived here for a year and would’ve stayed if I could’ve. The apartments are nice and the maintenance requests are resolved quickly and efficiently. The officer manager, Regina, was always so helpful and friendly. Overall, it felt safe, but Westwood next door seems to have issues sometimes… luckily, there is a large fence though. If I ever move back to Springfield, I hope I can come back here.

Tall Grass Apartments was a truly hospitable place to call home. During our two years there, the management team consistently impressed us with their professionalism and support. They were always approachable and attentive, making us feel valued as residents. Maintenance was equally outstanding—efficient, courteous, and quick to resolve any issues that came up. It was reassuring to know that help was just a call away and that any concerns were handled promptly. The neighborhood itself was peaceful and welcoming. While there were the occasional sounds of playful dogs or footsteps from above, these were minor and to be expected in any apartment community. I don't know where to start. This is my second winter here really wanted to move but places are hard to find. Last year I had to close my spare room off due to the closet this year I bought something to block the closet off so I could move everything out of the closet and store it in my spare room. The windows and doors leak super bad the utility bills are ridiculous. I have said something to the manager I was told to put plastic on the windows and buy curtains for the patio door I shouldn't have to do that since they raised my rent. Can not wait to get out of here tired of being cold and paying high utility bills that I really can't afford. And all I ever hear from the manager is it's not in the budget. These are great people to work with. I've lived here for 2 years. They have always brought a touch of class being personable and prompt with everything that came up. I've had the opportunity to rent from other apartment complexes in Springfield and I must say I would recommend Tallgrass to friends and family above the rest. It's great location, centrally located on the west side while also cozy. Good place to call home!

I lived at Tall Grass from Nov 2022 till July 2024. Loved the apartment - I had a very reasonably priced 2 bedroom/2 bath on the ground floor in the back. It was well-maintained and pleasant. The few maintenance issues I had were resolved quickly, usually within 24 hours. Management was responsive and helpful. The location was convenient to shopping and businesses - and parking close to my entrance was never a problem. Definitely would recommend living here - the only reason I left was to move to a larger place with an attached garage.
