Talia Apartments

I love this place I love my new apartment they come with all appliances new and a washer and dryer I feel safe cuz it is gated all around and 24 hours surveillance I feel very comfortable and the tenants that live here are very nice I couldn't ask for a better place to have moved thank you for allowing me to be a resident here

I hate having to leave a review because I genuinely loved being a property manager. BUT, I can understand the frustration of trying to get a deposit back, knowing how you left the unit in better shape than you moved in. My family and I moved in Talia as a last resort once our home we were purchasing fell through, we moved in…under the circumstances that this was very temporary. Once we found a house in the spring we would be moving. ( 3 bedroom apartment, didn’t fit our soon to be 7 people and 2 dog family) that was very much understood by everyone that knew we moved in, but we had been staying in air b&bs for 2 months and that wasn’t financially working any longer. This property is absolutely awful. The ownership group forges documents and takes people's money. My wife managed the property and we moved in temporarily when our house moved through. The entire time we lived there we were harassed by not only the tenants but other managers and employees of the company and non profit. I was harassed going to and from my car to the point I wouldn't leave during certain hours. When we put our notice in (my wife was the manager) we cleaned and vacated the property with appropriate notices. She tried to contact the manager multiple times about our deposit only to be sent forged documents by the team that had also been a part of the harassment. I am a disabled veteran and we function off of a very fixed income and I think it is tragic that non profits like

I love my apartment and the security here. We have a new manager who is very on top of things and friendly. She has really been proactive taking care of things around here.I feel safe and blessed to have a new apartment with great management, amenities, and friendly neighbors.

The apartments are very nice. The gates are very unreliable. A person on foot can squeeze the the gate. Tenants leave outside gates open. Getting release paper work and return of deposit very lengthy. Promises by management is unreliable. The smell of marijuana prevalent in halls on weekends. They do allow smoking by back gate and bench for sitting. If you need cheaper rent I recommend Talia. Just don't trust promises from management or quick return of deposit.
