Sycamore Apartments

Upon signing a lease for sycamore apartments I was told there were bug traps because the building had roaches. While living there we found out many apartments were infested and also had bed bugs. The property manager gives bad and inaccurate landlord references or doesnt turn them in at all. If she doesnt like you she will fail your inspection for dumb things. If you do move in find a way to legally record everything that happens so you have something to stand on. If you have a maintenance issue call the office to report the issue then contact maintenance or it'll be days, weeks or even months until the issue is fixed. If you currently live there id suggest calling code enforcement when these things happen so things are taken care of in a timely manner. I once went 3 days with heavy items

My fiancee and I live here currently, and we are looking for our first opportunity to leave. The property manager is very unprofessional and volatile. She will cuss you out across the building even when you are walking away. The higher management gives no concerns for the tenants here while giving too much power to the property manager. The apartments on the third floor get way too hot, while the first floor stays freezing. Beware, letting your kids get close to Melanie, the property manager, she gets obsessive and clingy. She has entered tenants' apartments and just taken their kids with no permission. I am tired of getting treated like a circus animal, so if you need a safe and appropriate place to raise your family, do not move here!

Don’t live here if you can help it. Wouldn’t recommend to someone I hate. Bugs, bugs, and more bugs bc people are allowed to live nasty and the actually clean people have to suffer and the property manager wants you to bow down to her. Don’t do it.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Worst place ever. The building is run by the most incompetent person on earth. The roach, bed bug, and mice infestations are insane. I wouldn't even recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Okay so I have mixed feelings about Sycamore apartments the women in the office are absolutely wonderful and will bend over backwards to get anything you need or have anything fixed that needs to be fixed. however the neighbors are the most horrible people, they are never nice when they do speak, and when they do speak all they do is yell and scream at you. They are just the meanest people I've ever met in my life!!!! As for Sycamore the office personnel are wonderful even my apartment is pretty nice.
