Sweetwater Property Management

I don't recommend ANYONE to rent from this property! They are very unprofessional and do not care about their tenants. March 1st, 2025 my apartment at The Crown at Steeplechase flooded from the apartment above me due to the improper maintenance! An issue that happened before I moved here was never fixed so it caused my apartment to flood. The property will not resolve this issue! They sent an INSENSITIVE Email stating it's nothing they can do due to it not being in their control! Which is BS! They weren't able to take money off of my rent for the month for the inconvenience or anything! Please please please don't rent from this property I've been dealing with issues since I've moved here and I wish I never did. Pictures that are posted is the aftermath from my ceiling leaking.

Honestly, one of you worst management groups I've ever dealt with. I live in a property in Norfolk that is ran by them. They're on site managers are amazing and super helpful but it's the lack of communication from their corporate office in regards to my accounting/account balance due to an error on their end in regards to rent that is appalling. They don't answer the phones during their work day and don't answer email. Honestly it's ridiculous and very frustrating that I have to fight over rent that I already paid. If you can. Avoid living at a property ran by them if you can.

If you see this Management company managing your community, please seek elsewhere because you will be highly disappointed and disgusted! They recently took over our community and have done absolutely nothing. The common areas are flirty, the floors/carpet are flirty, the elevator shakes so bad, the gym equipment is broken, and here the sad thing about all of this, the property manager walk past this flirty/disgusted areas daily. And, do nothing about it. There’s no accountability from them nor upper management. To be honest, they aren’t worth one star!!!

The manager in my apartment complex is a great guy. Since Sweetwater took over, the once clean halls are now all dirty. I am thinking of going to the laundry 8 miles away because the floors and counters are now full of lint and human private parts hair. The grounds have trash all around the dumpsters since they fired the cleaning person the day they took over. I love my apartment and have nothing against the manager. He is only doing what he is told to do. Hopefully they straighten it out. This is a great place to live, but going down hill fast. A year later, and nothing about the cleanliness has changed. Want to thank Emmanuel for making sure the cold water for our laundry system finally is working. We been washing with only hot water for a while so that was really good for us! First impression I pay close attention to and this guy is on top of his game. Also made sure everything else is fix and working properly!
