Swan Apartments

Loved living at this property…it was newly renovated before we moved in, it felt private and was nice to not live in a massive complex. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 is the ANTS. We battled them the entire almost 2 years I lived there. Exterminator came multiple times and told us that this had been their nightmare property for years because they can’t spray outside due to the close proximity to the pond. So basically the ants ruled the house and I lost hundreds of dollars in food, ultimately part of the reason I decided to move from this beautiful property :( ALSO on my last day there I was doing trips to the garbage, and one resident came out screaming at me about not closing the lid even though I kept coming right back…..so beware of that too I guess 😂

I resided at these apartments for approx 1.5 years. I have resided at many apartments in the Tacoma area and I must say Hokold Properties outdid every last one. I also worked in the housing field and know how hard it is to find a unit that is managed well, aesthetically pleasing and affordable. These apartment offer all three of those things and more. The staff is pleasant and the rental process was not difficult. I moved only because I had to relocate back to the East coast to be with family. I will miss this unit and property very much.

There is a very high precentage of criminality and vandalism. My two cars have been broken into and the fuel was stolen twice. One even in the daytime. Its not very safe place for anyone’s car. No cameras anywhere.

Not a safe place for cars, someone made a hole in our fuel tank . No cameras around. Leasing office does not care about security , they only taking care about towing away unauthorized cars

The newly renovated apartments are really nice. However cars (including) mine have been broken into. This happens 2-3 times a week.
