PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING i was a tenant trapped here for 1 year & 9 months. my roomate and i toured sunset springs property as a last resort because our original living situation with another apartment fell through. the property is rundown & needs work but it was this or homelessness. the first red flag was that they wouldn’t let us see the inside of the unit until the day we moved in. because we were young renters (20 & 19) they made us put down 2500$ as our deposit & firsts months rent. we moved into the first unit. the unit was completely outdated, but we remained positive because a rundown apartment is better than the street. as it started to get dark, there were roaches crawling out of the walls, fridge, carpet etc. we had to get a hotel because of how disg

I lived at this complex for over 10 Years. The last three years have Been horrible. All I have to say is that if the management doesn’t do their job it’s going to be a very difficult and unhappy environment. Weed, tobacco and drug chemicals seeping into you airways and vents. This last year I had dealt with roaches, and the last three years I dealt with a sound bar on the Common wall that my neighbor and I shared that was absolutely horrible because when you told the neighbors they just seem to rebel against it And didn’t want to follow the rules And the management was not firm enough with the tenants to run the property properly. Do not rent from Golden Cities Property Management! We lived in apartment 54 from April to November 2024, and it was the worst experience we could have had as first time renters. When we got our internet installed, the technician warned us that the area was unsafe and to get cameras. Unfortunately, they were right. There was a drive by shooting in the complex next door, a SWAT raid in another building, and homeless individuals constantly walked through the property digging through trash during the day and checking door handles at night. On move in, our refrigerator did not work properly and we lost a full week’s worth of groceries. Maintenance came out multiple times and blamed us for overfilling it. Horrible! The management are basically crooks who will try to take as much money from you as possible. They said I didn’t pay a bill and despite having evidence that I did pay, they still refused to give me my full deposit back, despite nothing being wrong with the apartment. The apartment was gross when I moved in and I left it cleaner than I found it. I also got a letter right before I moved out saying everyone in my building might have to pay for repairs to a sewage line, despite the fact that I am 1 person and my neighbors had 5 people in their apartment, meaning whatever happened likely had nothing to do with me at all but I was still going to pay for it. They had a car port fall on top of peoples cars and it took MONTHS for them to even get the rubble out of the parking lot. There i
