Sunset Ridge at La Crescenta

My wife and I moved in to Sunset Ridge at La Crescenta in October shortly after we got married. Since then, it has been absolutely amazing. Everything from how the rent is so affordable, to only have one utility to pay as well as all the other features the complex has for all it’s tenants. Natalie, the on-site manager is always more than help and Frank, our maintenance guy is quick and very thorough with every request we have. Definitely recommend this amazing location as it is the best.

My wife and I were very lucky to get locked into an extremely good rate on a 2bd//1.5ba, two story townhouse unit toward the end of the acute phase of the pandemic. Especially as far as La Crescenta and north Glendale go These units line the outside of the complex's perimeter that face both Montrose Ave. and La Crescenta Ave. We're the ones with all the neon lights on at night and the giant digital clock that looks like a bank, if you ever wanna honk or wave or point and laugh like we're frogs in a terrarium. Our time here has had it's fair share of ups and downs. Like many others have mentioned, there was an extremely destructive car fire in the lower parking garage that saw many tenants vehicles destroyed and the entire garage put out of commission for over a year. I toured an available unit and had the pleasure of meeting Natalie. She was fantastic—she walked me through the unit, amenities, parking, and storage, providing all the details I needed. Her knowledge and friendly approach made the experience truly enjoyable.

This is the worst management ever. The rent is extremely high while service sucks. Our parking structure caught fire last year. Not only they have not fixed it yet and “claim” it is the city that has delayed the process but also fail to compensate us for it. The parking structure we have lost was covered and had a storage. I have had to pay for a storage since last year to put in my stuff. Not to mention that my car is dirty everyday because it is parked in the street and I have to spend double on carwash. They have replaced the parking with a church lot far across the street which is Not covered and doesn't have storage. it. The new assistant manager is rude, audacious and has a sense of entitlement. She says the contract just says parking spot so it shouldn't be covered instead of apolo
