Sunset Plaza Apartments

I lived there for about 5 years and I can honestly say that these are the worst apartment complex ever. My apartment flooded a week after I moved into my two bedroom and they never fixed the problem by the time that I moved out into a one bedroom after a year in a half later and two separate tenants had the same problem after me and a tenant before me. My one bedroom was in a worst condition. The management was horrible and disrespectful. They act like they didn't know how to do their job. I really think that they was stealing money from the tenants. The property is poorly kept, with trash everywhere, trash cans stayed full with old bed bug infested furniture around it. I never got anything fixed properly in my apartment and I had to go a winter and summer without heat nor air. The tenants

I grew up in these apartments throughout the 90’s. We had a pool & went swimming everyday! We had a clubhouse with a big tv, fireplace, fully furnished, full sized kitchen, and a SAUNA!! (I’m serious we use to swim and go lay in the sauna lol) We had frequent parties at the clubhouse, potlucks, dance competitions (you know at the party we would battle lol) and on frequent weekends they gave out box lunches and all the residents would hang out and eat. We had slumber parties AT THE CLUBHOUSE where all the residents spent the night and we had movie nights. You guys we even had a cheerleading squad FOR THE APARTMENT COMPLEX lol. Ms Mallory was very helpful and sweet as I was there helping my son put in his application for his first place. The place is under new management and they are updating the apartments. These apartments are horrible!! Do not move here!! First let me say that the only good thing about these apartments are the location and the layout, other than that they have a MAJOR breakout I'm bed bugs! When I went to check out the apartments they told me that they installed new carpet throughout the whole apartment and when i moved in and me and my child started getting bites I called the office to inform them and they said I was not keeping my apartment clean (mind you that I am a clean freak) and therefore I attracted bugs that are biteing me and my child, but I knew that was not the case so when I was in bed o found a BED BUG and took it to the office attached to tape and they said I BROUGHT THEM IN, I informed them that that's not possible giving that all my furniture was brand n

I would rate them 0 Stars if I could. They have bugs & when they send someone over they don't properly spray. Don't let them fool you by saying a new owner bc nothing has changed & new owner lives out of state.you have to complain numerous times & fight with them to fix things & if they do fix it it takes mths to get them to & they just barely do that. Basically they just band aid it instead of properly fixing it.They can't keep maintenance men. The grounds are dirty they don't pick up trash on the regular, so it sits.They have severe plumbing problems.They make u go weeks with a broke AC.The ceilings & walls have leaking problems.No playground for the kids.There is people out here fighting all hours of the night, security isn't out here all the time.I have now found out why they stress re
