Summerwind Apartments

I moved in, June 2025. After two I started seeing roaches everywhere. They sprayed several times although, I still currently have roaches. I also began to see mice, in August. I was given mice traps and told, that they put traps under every building and check them regularly.. They also said it is normal for field rats to be in your apartment during winter months‼️ I don’t think so‼️ I am a Professional Cleaner. I clean Apts, homes, offices, etc. I have never lived this way.. it is inhumane‼️ Don’t Rent From This Complex🥲

It’s ridiculous. The pool hasn’t opened in the past 3-4 years. They make you pay FULL rent but do not offer full amenities. We are harassed 3 times a week with letter in the door about everything under the sun but no one can fix the pool. Things like we cannot park our cars backwards?? Storage on the patio but it’s NO STORAGE provided. It’s HOT!! We hear our neighboring apartments in the pool having fun cooling down every year. We cannot have sprinklers or kiddie pools for the kids on the holiday yet the pool is closed. They built a beautiful gazebo a few years back, next to the non working pool. They had money for that. But not to fix the pool?

On March 13. I travel to Nashville Tennessee from Orlando Florida for a 8:30 am appointment with Ms Harney for a possible rental. I'm nervous already. My Live in Aide and I approached the office door only to be told thatmy Emotional Support Pet (Esp) with paperwork wasn't aloud in the office. Only Service dogs. It was the tone. Red flag! I've never had a problem with my ESP with paperwork when taking care of business. I filled out the application I felt real nervous without my esp. I felt some kind of way during the filling out the application. I was supposed to go back with the money order. I didn't go back. Should have known better with the Green pool water.

I had moved to Summerwind Dec of 2016 after being homeless for 5 month's . I was on Sec 8 and they never sent me a letter how much my rent was suppose to be so I was just paying 600 a month. The office manager Knew the whole time the amount I was suppose to pay and never told me the amount. They never put a late note or anything stating I was short nor late on my door. Other apartments I've lived in always places notes on peoples doors if they were late. But they were good for putting inspection letters on peoples doors. They waited 7 months later to put a note on my door stating that I owed over 2500 dollars and they know they never gave me any type of letter stating I was behind. I am a single parent and my daughter has a baby on the way that is due in 3 weeks and we had to move and now

I have lived over here for five years know never had a problem. The new maintenance guy is terrible seem every time you see him he is on the phone or riding around. My front stove top is still not working and my hot water heater pan is still full of water.
