Summer Trace Apartments

This is an OK place for someone who’s getting out on their own. They are quiet apartments and everyone minds their business for the most part but I don’t suggest making these apartments a long term living situation. The walls and floors are so thin that you can hear and feel your downstairs neighbor walking and you can also hear your next door neighbors conversation and tv. When I first moved in, it didn’t occur to me that the carpet wasn’t replaced from the previous tenant. From eye-view, it looked clean and somewhat new but it was riddled with dirt, dust, and dog or cat hair throughout the unit. It’s embedded in the carpet fibers so deep that I was vacuuming and wet vacuuming consistently my entire stay. It never left. (I have photo proof) Pest control would come and spray but it didn

I've lived here 2x now and it's not fancy, but it's not too bad either. It's got a mix of Memphis rough streets and also good neighbors who mostly keep to themselves. It has a pool, but unless you enjoy swimming with 5-10+ people, it's not great. (During the warm school days it's nice and quiet though!) Parking lot is well maintained and at peak holidays, they employ a complex security car. And the elementary school next door, means a lot of families tend to be here. Which makes it feel a bit safer. Though that rough element is always around. And the rent has always been very reasonable and can be a good stop for 6-12 months.

I have lived here for about 12 years and every time I've needed maintenance they've been here. I've had no problems with anyone; love my neighbors.

DO NOT MOVE HERE. as a current resident this is the worse place I have lived in my entire life. The apartment is old outdated and needs a face lift. Maintenance doesn’t come to fix a dang thing and the leasing office staff have terrible customer service. My car has been towed twice since living here. Once because I didn’t have a sticker ( my fault) second reason was some crap about how my husband needed to turn in his old sticker to get a new one for my car …. Make it make sense. Now at 35 weeks pregnant they want to hit us with an eviction notice but can’t give us a date we need to vacate the apartment. So my family and I have decide to get our things out before they send anyone to our apartment to remove any of our items. I feel like this place is cursed with something. There is no

I've lived here for over a year now. There are too many unemployed residents who are outside the window yelling and cursing at all hours of the night. The rent is way too high for a two bedroom in a housing project like environment. You get charged to replace things that were put in probably years before you got there. You smell weed all day long in the halls. You can here everything going on in the next person's apartment. Your neighbors are loud and slam doors on purpose. The only plus is that it is very close to my job and right around the corner from Bartlett where my children attend school.
