Do not rent in this community—it’s the worst neighborhood and property management I’ve ever seen! The leasing office is only open two days a week, four hours each day! Never apply here without seeing the apartment first! The application fee is not $27, but actually $227. After you submit the application, they immediately charge another $200, claiming it’s a “future deposit.” But unless you move in, you’ll never see that money again. I applied on August 18. They first changed my move-in date from August 31 to September 5. I didn’t receive the lease agreement until September 2. On September 3, I went to check my unit, and it was a disaster: the living room reeked of paint, bugs and flies were everywhere, the outdoor steps were covered with some greasy substance, the door frame wasn’t even in
I was intended to move into this property on 08/07/2024. The dwelling was not in an acceptable condition to hand over to any resident. The unit was not cleaned and had several issues. There was a note left at the unit stating that the maintenance team had a handful of repairs that still needed to be completed after my intended occupancy date. The note states that the shower would not be usable for my first intended occupancy date. One of my biggest concerns is that there is very clearly black mold under the kitchen sink. There was food left in the cabinets, grease and a sticky film left over many surfaces and door handles. The unit would in no way be suitable for me or any person to live in. I highly recommend looking else where that has higher standards than to hand over a unit in a cond
Make sure you come view this place before you sign a lease. I made the mistake of signing the lease first. I would have absolutely not moved into this place if I had known the internal issues. Mold, bug, old carpet, the smell of mildew no matter how much I clean, NO AC!! the apartment was not moving ready, but they let me move in regardless. This place has been a nightmare. They say rent is 1375 but then you have to pay for everyone else’s share, shared trash, water, common electric which bounces your rent up to $1600. I’d move out tomorrow if I wasn’t stuck in a lease. My only positive is the location.
I cannot believe I have not seen this on here yet but during our stay we contracted BED BUGS. The bugs can live within the walls and survive for up to a year without a host to feed on. We did not realize that we had gotten them until we had a new individual spend the night who reacted to the bed bugs. The apartment did not take care of this effectively, as a heat treatment for bed bugs is the most effective treatment. However, a janky spray solution was sprayed all throughout the apartment and the carpets were wet for days. And I feel as though the apartment has dealt with this several times before because they did not express ANY concern over the situation, it seemed normal to them. we moved out as soon as our lease ended. I hope who ever is exiting in 2911 S Robert Lane now does not hav
It's been a pretty good place to live so far for the past year. Well there's a few outdated things, maintenance has been pretty good so far to fix most things that I need. Considering what rent is these days, I'd say the price is decent. Stairs are a little skinny so it's hard to fit big things upstairs. Decent available internet as well. I'd only say it's really hard to talk to anyone in management after you move in because of how many changes there's been and the availability Scheduling to meet with them is a little wonky. Other than that, I can recommend at least checking the place out.
