Stratus on Hudson

I had an amazing experience working with the team at Stratus. Danielle was extremely helpful from the very beginning, she made scheduling my apartment tours so easy and even arranged for me to see a variety of units across different buildings all in the same day. When I arrived for my tour, I met with Danielle and Matt, who were both absolutely lovely in person. They were friendly, knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. Danielle continued to be incredibly supportive throughout the entire application process. She was always available, communicative, and helped walk me through every step, which made everything feel effortless. I'm a new tenant so I can only speak to the leasing and move-in experiences, but so far things have been excellent. My leasing agent Alex was very responsive and reachable and made me aware of great apartment specials. During move-in and after, the super, Eddie, made everything seamless and has also been readily available. The amenities are nice, the location is convenient, and the views are beautiful.

Update 2/2024: We are in the process of moving for work-related reasons but the new property manager Susan has been extremely helpful and attentive in helping us resolve a very complex billing issue that arose last year (under the old property manager). Editing this old review as we are grateful for her patience and her efforts. Been living here for 2 years and the building has had its ups and downs. Initially everything was amazing—the incredible Palisades + Hudson river view from our corner unit, responsive super and property manager, and awesome rooftop. Things went downhill when staffing changed about a year into our stay. Suddenly it became near impossible to get in touch with the property manager, and when we did she was incredibly unhelpful. I'll start by saying you can't get a better view north of Manhattan, it may be an even better view than Manhattan itself. As Brooklynites for the better part of a decade it was quite a shift moving up here, but we are so happy we did. With just a 30 minute commute into Grand Central (door to door) you cannot find a more beautiful building with amenities for the cost in Westchester County. We've been living at Stratus for awhile now and were tenants for the switch in management - night and day from when we moved in till now. Those pesky previous reviews would likely be for the previous management. The garage was fixed within weeks of them taking over and any issues within personal units taken care of. The team is friendly and reasonable, and you won't find a more amazing maintenance manager

I lived in Stratus for two years. The experience was OK. I had a wonderful view of the Hudson and the custodial staff were efficient, pleasant and hardworking. The issue I had with Stratus was the property management experience. There is no front desk in the building, which ultimately means no accountability for anything that might be amiss. The communication with respect to staff changes, updates to package room access, and building maintenance is horrible if not non existent. For the views of the Hudson, and the proximity to NYC this building would be a 5/5, but because of the management of the property I will give it a 1/5. I take particular issue with Jeanette in finance who is not only unresponsive but rude. I have yet to be notified about the return of my security deposit. It is as
