Stonehaven Villas

I haven’t lived in a rental property in over 35 years, but after a recent job promotion, I relocated to Stonehaven. Overall, my experience here has been very positive. The staff has been responsive and handles maintenance requests in a timely manner. The community is generally made up of working professionals who keep to themselves and contribute to a quiet, problem-free environment.

I put in a request for maintenance to fix the red stains left in toilet, tub, and shower curtain edges. I looked it up and google says “iron contamination, check water heater and pipes for rust “ Made a request for maintenance and all the “maintenance guy” does is turn my water heater temp up to 140 degrees so I can burn my skin off before the iron contaminated water can give me cancer.. But funny enough my skin matches my tub and Aloe Vera stock is up. plenty of terribly handled maintenance requests. No fault to the office workers who are actually nice and helpful.

We lived there for 6 years. Office staff is changed out so much, you never know who you are speaking with. We were forced to emergency move units after our first one was flooded, causing the ceiling to fall in on my husband. We were handed keys to a new one. No walk through was done, no rent was taken off, no help was offered. Just thrown keys. We move out last week and are told not only do we have to pay a buy out of $4,997(which I understand) but an inconvenience fee for another $1,400 for not staying the full 60 days (told by staff our unit was outdated and they were going to have to remodel it anyways), so it’s not like it was going to set for 37days unoccupied. Never offered an inconvenience fee for our force move, ruined belongings, or move to the “new” unit. Not even an offer to cle

Never lived at a better place besides my parents house! Haha! All jokes aside I love living here, the other residents are so nice and always ask how you are when you see em. The property managers and staff are very kind and helpful with anything you could need help for. The apartment is so cozy and quiet, all appliances and amenities work with no problems. They didn’t “land lord special” the apartment after the last person moved in like the last two apartments I’ve lived in have. It’s very nice and feels luxurious. Definitely worth a tour at least! 😊
