I’d recommend staying away from Stone. The appraisal he provided fell way short of purchase price (by nearly 15%!) He used comps with well over 25% gross adjustments, and the subject property has a lake view but 3/4 comps used did not have a lake view. Comparing off-lake properties to properties with a lake view and not adjusting appropriately for a lake view is ridiculous, especially in this market. I’ll be reporting this company to the Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board.

Did a search for gemologist and was given this business. No signs anywhere. Looks like a regular house with security door. Not sure what's up, going elsewhere.
