Overall a great experience! Scott Salisbury our agent is knowledgeable, responsive and affable. I got quotes from at least 5 other major mortgage lenders. I let him know about the competition and he answered all my questions. At the end of November 2024, he timely advised us to lock in a low mortgage rate with the best points charges as possible: 5.99% with less than point. The next highest rate was 6.25% with at least a couple of points and there were others at up around 7% and over. I would highly recommend Scott and Stepstone Mortgage to get you the best home mortgage rate as possible, with great service as well.
