I have been in the real estate business for 20 years. When we decided to build our own home, we were excited and nervous. Starwood Corp exceeded all expectations and made the process smooth and fun! Starwood Corporation was highly recommended to us from friends that had Starwood build their lake house. We first met with Dan and Dan at our house (which we were going to tear down to build a new house). We thought we knew what we wanted but after talking with Dan and Dan and taking their suggestions - we were off and running with some new ideas. Starwood has built several homes around Lake Anna - and their clients allowed us to walk through their finished homes. That says a lot about Dan, Dan, Kat, and AJ - that folks would let us walk through their finished homes. We worked diligently with Dan Wilson to design our dream home. Like most people, we were initially nervous about how the building process would go. In addition, we had our home built while COVID was disrupting the supply chains around the world. The Starwood team got our Lake House built, on budget and on schedule. But more importantly, they cared and took care of issues like they were building it for themselves. They found us deals on light fixtures and appliances, they allowed last minute changes, they were great. It was a better experience and home than we could have imagined.

Great experience with professionalism and timely service. After looking for several months, we decided to use Starwood because the design was perfect for our needs. We had never built a house and were very nervous about the experience. From designing the house with Dan Wilson, we gave him ideas what we wanted, and he made our visions come true. They were on top of everything from start to finish. Their professionalism and communication were outstanding, and they always kept us well informed throughout the entire process. They had great ideas and were always very receptive to making any changes. We asked for customized accent walls and a curved bar area which they completed to perfection. The quality of the work was exceptional and their attention to detail truly showed in their work. I would highly recommend Starwood to anyone who plans to build. We absolutely love our new home.
