St. Paul Courts Apartments

Just toured these apartments and never been so appalled. You get awful customer care, poor maintenance, baby roaches all over (where’s mama at?) all before you even had them rent. Nice area tho

The apartment is pretty old but that's ok as the rent is relatively low. The water pipeline is not well-maintained and the tap water is often brown and rusty. Another issue is that there're plenty of cockroaches, literally everywhere. I lived there for one year and two months and I finally gave up the bug-killing campaign and moved out. It has been almost half a year since then and I still have not received my security deposit refund though I wrote several demand letters. Though the security deposit is not big money, I just hate the feeling of be offended for no reason.

As a resident of this apartment building, I was provided a stove that was deemed a safety hazard by Baltimore Gas and Electric. The stove cannot be used to cook or prepare any meals without posing a health threat. I attempted to get in contact with the leasing office for five days in a row, being met only with answering service that can guarantee no response from the main office. I don't know how much longer the leasing office intends on ignoring my messages, or when they plan on contacting me back about the issue. Management has shown no empathy or understanding of the additional costs I’m having to endure as result of a lack of a functioning stove. Customer service is nonexistent.

Stayed here for 1+ years in one of the first floor rooms. Pros: #.The location is one of the best in the neighborhood. #. You get food stores (All sorts of cuisine), bank, bar, grocery store, CVS store just across the road. #. The most beneficial for me was the flexibility to extend the lease for any moth after my one year stay. This is very helpful for senior PhD students if you are not sure when you will finish everything and pack up from Baltimore. #. Water and heating is included in the rent. #. Wooden floor, big closets. #. There is a small green zone with siting place inside the apartment. #. All rooms have at least one inside facing window and one outside facing window. From inside facing window, you can watch birds in the green zone all day, calm and quite. From outside facing wind
