St. Croix Apartments

Using a throwaway account as I am a current resident and don't want the Leasing Managers to use this as ammo against me, such as not sending maintenance for the 3rd appliance that will have broken this month. The apartment within itself is fine, it is decent space for an apartment, except for the lack of ceiling fans OR lights in the bedrooms lol. The dryer, despite having maintenance come in 3 occasions to "fix it", still takes 3 cycles to dry. Our dishwasher is always having issues. When we moved in, we had water damage and a very sloppy paint job done to where white paint is splattered all over the floors. I can also guarantee you that they did not have a proper carpet cleaning done, because while I was cleaning up an accident on the carpet, I pulled cat urine out from my carpet cleane

please do not live here. I have recommended several people to not live here. The leasing office is extremely unprofessional and rude. They do not communicate clearly and will leave you paying hundreds of dollars out-of-pocket on top of the maintenance is horrible. Me and my two month baby had no AC for at least a month in the middle of summer and the leasing agent Told me that per my lease, it would be my responsibility if they couldn’t fix the AC they promised to fix a door that had been broken when I moved in and then charged me on my move out on top of my deposit. The apartments are moldy and old there are roaches. It is extremely ghetto. The walls are thin and if you live in the downstairs unit, you will get no sleep heat my warning.

I've lived here for over 3 years. This is gonna be lengthy, as I want to be thorough -and- honest. When I first moved in, the property manager was Venus. I had an issue with my downstairs neighbor. They resolved the issue fairly quick, and I was thankfully moved to another apartment downstairs where I've lived since. Not long after, Lynetta took over in the office. The maintenance team was replaced save one man, who's still here. Our requests have always been responded to quickly, and things are always fixed properly. The only thing we've had to have looked at more than one time is our garbage disposal. And to be quiet frank, it may be due to user error rather than the disposal itself. I’ve been living here since April , honestly I have enjoyed my time here so far, Ms. Lynetta has always communicated with me, if there is problem the maintenance team takes care of it to the best of their ability. A couple bugs here or there but that happens at any complex. The only thing that just irritates me a little bit is sometimes you can smell cannabis through the walls. Even though this complex is non smoking tenants still do. But other than that it’s quiet, it’s simple and it’s honestly just what I need as a single person. When I first applied, my apartment was supposed to be move-in ready by the end of October, but it was delayed until early November. Upon move-in, there were clear signs of rushed preparation—dust and debris were painted over, and parts of the bathroom appeared to be held together with glue, with visible dirt underneath.
