SRI Management

We were so excited to move my mom here! Things were great in the beginning then really went down hill 3 months in . The maintenance of the property is poor .. the trees began to die , the pretty pond is now a large mud hole and the weeds in open area need to be cut back . Staff turn over is constant. Maintenance needs more help and up front office staff is overwhelmed and not much help at all . I’ve tried to call corporate , but can’t get anyone live on the phone. It’s sad bc all of the residents are so kind and friendly and the facility was once very beautiful . Rent will be increasing next year and not really sure where the money is going as rent already expensive .

Don’t fall for the salesman’s pitch! It looks great before you move in, but it quickly goes downhill. From the day we moved our mother in, there were problems. She is supposed to get a shower twice a week, on certain days of the week, and that rarely happens. The front desk is frequently empty, or doesn’t answer the phone, and you can’t talk to a live person. During emergencies, when I have tried to call, no one answered the phone. The med tech on-duty during the evening is supposed to answer the phone, but her voice mailbox has not been set up. They agreed to go get our mother at meal times to remind her to eat, but often they don’t do that, and then she doesn’t eat. She needs to eat with some of her medications, so this is a necessity. They won’t do simple things like putting in her hear

I live at The Glen Oak Ridge, TN. I am quite capable of handling my finances. Previously, my son got a copy of my statement and I got the original, which was fine. I have told management at least 3 times to please send my statement to me with a copy to my son. Again, he got the December statement and just e-mailed me a copy which for some reason I cannot open. Why are you making this so hard for me? And, what don't you understand about sending my statements to me? Am I going to have to go through this every month? It is so discouraging and so unnecessary. If I sound a little terse it is because right now, I am a little upset. Happy Holidays Helen

Too expensive bad food chicken that looks like a deck of cards and taste like it too. Small portions out of supplies and they want us to give gifts to THEIR employees for Christmas. I think this should be investigated. Let’s check on this!

I moved my mom into one of their facilities. Things were good the first year. She seemed content. On year two 2024-2025, head staff there got fired/quit. I'm not sure which. Concurrently SRI increased fees and began sending the most confusing bills. They literally do not care (SRI). In fact, my mom was in the hospital for a month, yet I get billed for extra services she wasn't even there to receive. Her laundry was unwashed for that time as well despite me coming by and sitting out. Meanwhile not a single person from her facility called to ask how my mom was doing. I've moved my mom out. I begrudgingly paid my last bill even though it had fees I disagreed with. I'll count it a loss and warn future caregivers instead. SRI billing is maddening, cannot be trusted.
