Spring Valley Apartments

Lived here for 2 years and had a pleasant experience. It's located pretty centrally to a lot of places to eat and shop and has decent amenities. It's close to a central roadway and had dated appliances and fixtures. Here's my pros, mehs and cons. Pros: -you get a lot of bang for your buck, the apartments are very well sized and laid out and they are on the cheaper side compared to their competitors. - there is a pool and community garden, pool is nice and even has a hot tub area. Nothing fancy but its serviceable. -The heat and air-conditioning were top notch, never had an overly hot or cold day. - Never had issues with management and they were pretty accommodating with me having smart locks, and a smart thermostat. UPDATE after time spent here: Pros: - Quiet neighborhood - Balcony was in a great location/private Cons - Cops were called on us because the floors are very thin - walls started cracking due to the building being old - nails started coming out of the bathroom floor - paint that is used is the cheapest sold by Sherwin Williams - They charged us a move out fee of $900 to replace the carpet because there was two burn spots on it - dog poop was everywhere because of our neighbor I had a feeling they would try to keep our security deposit despite us cleaning the apartment, but I didn’t think they’d charge us over $1,000 to move out. Went to a surprise birthday party there and the apartments are well laid out. Living room dining room kitche 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Small patios for grilling. Most importantly they have a pool. Apartments are well maintained and don't look dated.

Older property currently under extensive renovation. Not, for the most part, handicapped accessible. No elevators. Management is better than average in responding to major troubles, not so much when they consider your troubles minor. Everyone I've met has been kind and friendly. My view is that it's safe, quiet, and an excellent value for the money.

I moved in here in March. I love this place. Neighbors are friendly. If I have a problem, maintenance is commendable. Management is great. This property is well kept. It's quiet. I would recommend this place to anyone!
