Spring Lake Apartments

Avoid this building! It used to be great, and the apartments and manager still are, however the management company, Cushman and Wakefield is abismal. They overwork their managers and neglect their properties. They won't respond to call asking about repairs, or even your lease renewal. I am more than happy to change this review if they turn their act around, but at this point in time they make it impossible to reccomend living here. Edit to add that the ceilings in the hallways are literally collapsing and the management has don't nothing to resolve the issue other than to sweep up the debris. Edit 8/11/25 Roach infestation, they only spray individual apartments but I have seen and killed roaches all the way down in the parking garage all the way up to The 3rd floor of these apartments. SHA raises the rent by 9.9% to skirt the law that states if rent is raised by 10%, landlords must pay you to move if you cannot afford to stay They are raising rent from 1541 to 1695 by 2026 and likely is higher for new renters. Originally was 1275 for a one bedroom in 2023. The roach infestation is a HUGE health hazard. I've seen roaches crawl out of my outlets!! They're in the halls, in my bathroom getting water (I am a clean person and NEVER leave food out!!) They are raising rent because this area is getting gentrified due to townhomes being built next door. Neighbors are always smoking cigar

Rent elsewhere, the management here is terrible. My fiancee and I rented an apartment from these people starting in January of 2014, and while things seemed to start out well, it all quickly went down hill. The management doesn't respond to emails unless prompted to do so, and she, the owner Mary Sobel, is usually curt and rude when she deigns to do so. While living in this apartment building we had a multitude of issues. The first major issue began shortly after we moved in and took over a year to rectify. When we moved in my fiancee's mother also moved in to a separate apartment in the building. A male tenant who was having his rent paid by subsidized housing had a record of harassing the women in the complex and set his target on my fiancee's mother. After months of complaints nothing

Management is terrible, is a scam, they take your 200dlls holding deposit plus 50 dlls application fee and never even run your information and they pocket the money. I’m still waiting for a refund for mine and no response from any management. Reporting to Better Business Bureau, DO NOT RENT HERE.

My aunt lives at Spring Lake apartments. I’m there helping her a lot and through out the recent management change, Teresa and Delaney have been amazing! I look forward to the change around the property.
