Spring Lake Apartments

I’m delighted with the new management. Their maintenance staff is incredibly efficient and dependable. When my air conditioning unit malfunctioned, they promptly provided me with a window unit until the issue was resolved a few days later.

I have been here 9 months. Management has changed FOUR times. Maintenance is hit and miss. Most things I handle myself. Today was literally my last straw with the unprofessionalism. Due to improper installation my cabinets collapse today. I tried to hold them up for as long as I could (Trying to save maintenance the extra hard work) I called while holding the cabinets up asked for assistance was told it was not a emergency. At this point I'm over it. Once the cabinets came down you can see how poorly installed the cabinets were and the poor foundation the cabinets were installed on. I have a children and im thankful they wasn't the ones trying to grab something from the cabinet when this happen. They would have not been able to hold these cabinets up. They were heavy. I am not a resident, but I have a LOT I want to say. This apartment complex has gotten away with allowing their tenants to live in filth and squalor. Management takes zero accountability for their shortcomings. South Carolina is extremely pro-landlord thus that's why so many can get away with being slumlords. We are currently in the middle of a harsh cold front, you have to make 3 times the rent to even get an apartment, and times are tough all around for everyone. The fact the apartment were so poorly maintained that your tenants were given a measly 30 day notice OUT OF NOWHERE to evacuate is despicable. Everyone already knows the stuff that has been on the news. The renovated apartments are really nice. Unfortunately rather than to fix what the fire inspectors said to fix, the fine people of this establishment felt that it would be better to abandon the tenants without even giving them heads up. It's a damn shame these apartments have potential

As a current resident, I say that I have lived in many states, the property manager and the staff care about the residents. Even after the fire on new years, they are helping the residents to rebuild and get back to normalcy. The empathy and compassion that has been displayed is unmatched. The Richland community has blessed the families and the staff has been amazing with making sure we all have the necessary support to move forward with confidence that everything will be ok. We are all truly blessed.
