Southwood Townhouses

My experience at Southwood Townhomes has been very disappointing, mainly because of the management. The office staff member, Shanita Wright, is extremely rude and unprofessional. She makes it difficult to have a simple conversation about maintenance or tenant concerns, and instead of helping she often gossips about residents. It feels like she goes out of her way to make living here uncomfortable.Not sure what type of things she may be dealing with outside of work at Southwood but it seems as though she’s bring that negative energy with her to work. Maybe some time off for her mental health will help. Just because the property is based on income does not give management the right to treat tenants with disrespect. These apartments used to be amazing to live in. Now that ALCO has taken over these apartments are HORRIBLE. The office manager Shanita Wright doesn’t know how to talk to people. She always has an attitude daily and acts as if she hates her job. She complains about everything. On top of her attitude ALCO doesn’t repair anything. People have begun to walk around guns! I just moved due to the crime that has increased since ALCO has taken over. I had to get my family out of here. I felt as if I was in GOTHAM CITY WITH NO BATMAN

These apartments are the only apartments that have denied me for 2 things being on my credit very minor things I think its very odd especially when the person in the office doesn't want to discuss it

ALCO MANAGEMENT!!!!!!! This USED to be a nice property until ALCO took over now NOTHING GETS FIXED!!!!! Cars are always getting broken into and stolen every week!!! And nothing is being done about it.The lady in the office SHANITA is RUDE and always has a ATTITUDE!!!!! SUPER STRICT on rules and try to put you out over every small thing you do but don't want to fix ANYTHING!!!!!!

I had to come update my review this was a nice property and felt safe when It was private owned /all repairs use to get done so fast. now Alco management have got their hands on it and bought it it’s not great anymore I’ve been here over 5 years and always loved it until now .. they don’t fix anything!!!!!!!!!! The lady Shanita in the office has a nasty attitude like it bothers her so much for anyone to come and say anything to her or ask her any questions it bothers her to do her job if you aren’t a people person you shouldn’t be in that position.. this is a nice property I just wish a company would have bought it that cares.. all these promises they made when taken over have not been started I haven’t seen nothing good done yet!!!!!
