Southvale Terrace Apartments

I wish I had read reviews, if you’re desperate and you need a landing zone this place is just that. The a/c has not worked properly from move in. I moved in July of this year. 1 toilet will not fill itself my it’s self and has been (repaired) the dishwasher was improperly installed the garbage disposal looks original to the building, the stairs are so questionable I don’t know how they’re legal or if they are. And on top of the cigarette smoke, the animal smells, and the place falling apart around you they also have audacity to raise rent, sighting current tariffs btw which do not affect rent. Over all this is the slums and as I said if you need a landing pad to get your life together this is the perfect half way house for you.

Don’t move here! Would give a zero. The whole place smelt like cigarettes, one room had the last tenants animals urine still soaked into the carpet that the room made you want to vomit, and cigarette burns and stains on carpet all throughout. Only rented for 2-3 months and the last month didn’t even live in the dwelling it was so bad. They kept my whole deposit except for $40… Charged me for carpet cleaning. Don’t bother deep cleaning or cleaning at all if moving out cause they’ll still charge a cleaning fee.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! This is bottom of the barrel property management. This company preys on and takes advantage of individuals that desperately need somewhere to stay and young people who are excited about getting their own place for the first time. EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MANAGEMENT, PROPERTY CARE, & BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE TRASH!!!!!! After 6 months of my daughter dealing with food from other apartments coming thru the plumbing and out of her hall closet, roaches, and even came home to a snake being inside her apartment …. Enough was enough and she moved out. Cleaned every inch of the apartment, top to bottom, yet they kept her $802 deposit because “there were a few crumbs under the stove.” The property is DISGUSTING and so is the behavior of the office staff!!!!! Rental office was very, very rude and incredibly condescending. I asked about the square footage and was given a rude answer and told to look at the website. When I asked about their breed restrictions, the lady talked down to me and said the information was on the website, which it isn't. Definitely would not waste my time with this company.
