Extremely disappointed in this place. I came and viewed 2 units the end of last month. Valerie scheduled me for an appointment today. I get there she has no clue of the appointment and rented out the unit I waited over two weeks to see. I live in Downey to take off and waste my time with no care in the world. Is probably why I don't need to live there. There wasnt even a apology just we been busy.

If I could give this apartment complex zero stars, I would. My experience here has been nothing short of a disaster. From the moment I moved in, it was clear that this place is a poorly managed money pit. This is the WORST complex you can possibly move into. They’ll tow your vehicle any chance they get. Claiming that tow trucks “roam the property” yet it’s just management that hides in the office. (They towed another tenants U-Haul truck) There is more housing units than available parking spaces. The property manager is rude and unprofessional. Unless you’re moving in alone and have no friends or family I suggest to AVOID living here. If you’re a person who’s alone, without friends, and therefore won’t have anyone over to your apartment, Solimar is the right place for you. But if you plan to have even a single visitor, make sure they arrive using any means of transportation other than their own car. The condominium has simply removed the few visitor parking spaces it used to have. Parking in front of your own assigned spot is also strictly prohibited. The manager himself will call the tow truck – along with the "security guard." I am the visitor in question. I was left stranded with my newborn baby, my wife, who is disabled, and my nearly 80-year-old mother-in-law after my car was towed for visiting a friend for about three hours and parking in front of his space. Some things are good but you pay a lot of money for a management group that really does not put forth the effort you would expect for the money you pay. Parking for guest and in emergencies is non-existent. Dog poop everywhere because again management wont manage. Wild animals being fed by residents. Trash bends over flowing and trash on the grounds all over complex. Equipment in exercise room is broken. Appliances old and malfunctioning.The management group is very lackluster and probably the reason for constantly loosing tenants!

I lived at Solimar in 2023, initially attracted by the rent price, but I strongly regret choosing this apartment. The management was consistently problematic. Beyond the concerning basics – like the security gate often being broken/left open and trash areas frequently overflowing – the most serious issue arose from management's incompetence during my move-out. They mishandled my final prorated rent billing. Despite me eventually paying the amount after they finally calculated and billed it, they incorrectly reported the account to a debt collection agency (IQ Data). This error created a negative mark on my credit report that is now causing significant problems as I try to rent a new apartment. Worse still, management has been completely unresponsive to my requests to correct their mistake.
