Solar Station is a great place to live. The staff is genuinely kind and responsive, and they don’t hesitate to address or fix issues when they come up. The community is kept very clean and neat, it’s quiet, and the neighbors are respectful, which makes it a comfortable place to call home. The property manager, Jeremy, is very nice and does an excellent job keeping the property well managed. The office staff, Valencia and Ebony, are always polite, answer the phone, engage with residents, and are consistently helpful. Maintenance is very quick and reliable. Chris, the maintenance supervisor, is polite, follows up, and does a great job making sure things get done properly. Overall, it’s a great community with a great team. I would definitely recommend Solar Station.
Sola Station which is managed by Willow Bridge Property Management, owned by The Beach Company expects its tenants to live in termite infested apartments! Reported termites crawling out my daughters bedroom walls at the beginning of the week. The management team promised a pest control person would be here today, Friday, between 12-1pm. No one showed. Called the office who said the pest guy cancelled, and no one told me!! I just waited for an hour. Be fearful of possible structural damage if you come here. I’m afraid I’m going to have to move out the apartment while it is treated. Not to mention the respiratory issues and mold issues termites create. **Review for Sola Station/Canalside Lofts: A Steep Decline and Deplorable Management** I lived at Sola/Canalside for five years, and while the first two were pleasant enough, the last three were an absolute nightmare. The complex started off decent—clean grounds, quiet neighbors, and a generally livable environment. But around year three, the neighborhood took a nosedive. Trash littered the common areas, landscaping was neglected to the point of embarrassment, and the whole place felt like it was rotting. Filthy hallways, overflowing dumpsters, and unkempt parking lots became the norm. It was like management just gave up. Speaking of management, they were beyond atrocious. Unhelpful doesn’t even begin to describe them—they were outright incompetent and maliciously deceptive. Worst of all
We lived at Sola Station for nearly two years. During that time, there were two different management companies—both equally bad. Things started off badly and never really improved. Before move-in, we were suddenly told we needed to have something notarized last-minute on a Friday night before our Monday move. Total scramble. We had asked if storage was available—were told no—only to see storage units all over our floor when moving in. We chose one and management came with a giant bag of unlabeled keys and tried one by one until they found the one for our storage unit. Two years later, they still didn’t have records of who was renting which units and asked residents to help them track it. The mailroom was a disaster. I’m posting this immediately, in hopes that the complex will quickly resolve this issue and I can update my review and take any negative remarks down. Until then, potential tenants should beware, my daughter just found termites coming out of her walls. It is Tuesday and the office staff told her the pest control company isn’t scheduled to come for 6 days. They told us they’ll reach out to him and request something sooner and that’s all they can do. Termites are a breach of implied habitability and they are a health/safety violation. I personally know many pest companies will come out within the hour (I can give the staff names and numbers if you like). Please take care of this quickly so I can make this a positive review. No one wants to pay over $2k a month to live with bug infestati
