These folks are absolutely OUTSTANDING! We have done a few large projects (finished a basement, redid flooring/doors throughout the house) and redesigning the bathroom has been the most fun with amazing results. First we connected to make sure what we wanted would be within the scope of what they could provide. It was an easy call that established a good rapport. Then we had a meeting at our home. They did a million measurements and discussed what we wanted (to replace literally everything). Our 3rd meeting was a thorough recap of expectations and line by line costs. We discussed where we could save money or “splurge” and how that would impact the end budget. Our experience with Sims was incredible from start to finish. Far exceeding their competition. Our first meeting with Vicky really showed her passion for what she does. Our second meeting, we were able to see what she put together from our vision on a large TV screen. Very easy to tweak some of the plans. We were very set on a particular medicine cabinet, which they were able to find and install for us. The Project managers Mike and Steve also went up and beyond for us making sure that everything was on task and that the subs were well informed of the project. All of the subs did a wonderful job as well. It was a breath of fresh air not to have a dumpster in our driveway for four weeks, all trash was hauled away every day. All of the team from Sims were terrific from start to finish. We remodeled/renovated our kitchen and part of our living room, and we are very happy with the results. Our designer Vicki was was enthusiastic, helpful and patient. It was a pleasure to work with her. She took time to understand our preferences and developed a great plan for our kitchen that we love. Our project manager Steve ensured that the project went smoothly. He checked in frequently, stayed on top of things, and kept us well informed. He suggested additional features that enhanced the finished project. He was always available and responsive to any questions or problems that we had. The whole Sims team does a phenomenal work from start to finish. We interviewed several contractors and they separated themselves into a category of their own. They helped us complete a whole home remodel and finish off the basement for our forever home. They helped make our dreams realty and we couldn’t have done it without them. Their designer, Margaret, is a rockstar and really helps you visualize your project with 3D imaging. Aaron and Mike were both great project managers to work with keeping us informed and up to speed. Our entire experience from design concept to project completion was PHENOMENAL. We are so in love with the functionality and beauty of our new kitchen--it's exactly what we were hoping for! We have 5 kiddos and we love to cook and entertain--having a space look and feel like this is like having our own private restaurant. We wanted a warm and inviting space that kept in line with the style of our home, that accentuated the wood we have (and love) and had contrast and interest...I think we nailed it! We enjoyed working with everyone from the entire SIMS team, in addition to their subcontractors. Just a wonderful, friendly and professional crew.
