Silverleaf at Panhandle Seniors

Me and my husband lived at Silver leaf for about 4 years. Much of that time we had Michelle for our manager and she was wonderful. She left , then Cori was hired. Cori is a mean spirited person, rude and was horrible to me when my husband passed away. No compassion at all! I was forced to leave due to my husband’s passing , could not live alone. But Cori. I won! I am moving to a beautiful apartment with a great staff and management… she stole from me and told lies. Stay away from Silverleaf. Not recommend.

The town of Panhandle, is a good, safe and peaceful place to live! I love the town! Silverleaf apartments are nice with many of the amenities of upscale city apartments. I’d give the town itself and the apartments 5 stars. However, current management at Silverleaf only gets one star. I’m going on my 5th year living here and I have only one complaint. The apartment manager, Cori, is unprofessional and takes much of the joy out of living here. I’ve never seen residents treated with such disrespect. Sadly, I can’t recommend Silverleaf Apartments for that reason.

I have lived here two and one half years and I love it. I especially love the design. Each building includes four apartments that share a large covered entrance area which is perfect for sitting and visited during warm weather. Plus each apartment has a nice sized patio. The walking path around the complex is very helpful for visiting neighbors in other buildings and walking dogs. Our community clubhouse is beautiful. Our Manager Michelle and maintenance person Jody are the best you will find. I appreciate that the covered parking is right outside our entrance area and the dumpster is just a few feet away. This is a quiet and safe place to live.

I would never recommend anyone live at Silverleaf with the current manager in charge. The previous manager Michelle was wonderful, and I felt comfortable with my 76 year old mother living there. The current manager is encroaching on elder abuse. Senior residents have fell in front of her with no aid rendered. Residents have been bullied, and their appartments entered without permission. The manager is a former nurse, but fails to show compassion to the residents. The city law enforcement, and EMS have expressed their concern as well. If you are looking for a pleasant place to live Silverleaf is not the home for you.

Current property manager is awesome. She has a tough job working with all types of personalities. Cori treats everyone fairly by following all facility regulations, policies, and agreed upon contract rules, makes for the best, safe place in the area. Hands down!!!
