Silver Spring House Apartments

Great team of building reps in the building manager, Renee and the building engineer supervisor, Chris, they are very attentive to the building needs and the tenants. I hope that this team stays as this is the 3rd set of building reps since I moved here two years ago and Renee and Chris are ecceptional! The Silver Spring House is a nice but old building, situated in a quiet tree lined location in downtown Silver Spring. However, there are very few modern amenties offered for the rent cost; you pay for the location. A relatively quiet building which is kept cleaned, daily. I have few a cons but it you are looking for a superb onsite team, clean and quiet surroundings and near public transport/DC, Sligo Creek park and downtown Silver Spring is less than .5 mile walk, than the Silver Spring

I would like to thank Ms. Renee for the opportunity to live here and having me settle in within these apartments. So far it's been quiet, and relaxing. The management have been great! Happy with their great services here!

STAY AWAY!!!! I HAVE LOST HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS BECAUSE OF THIS APARTMENT. Normally I am not one to write a review, even if my experience wasnt the greatest. I am the type of person that generally avoids unwanted attention and foolishness. However, this apartment and its management have refused to provide me with a refrigerator for the last two months. This is the worst apartment I have ever lived in to date. The unit is decent, but spacious. However, the disorganization, high turnover with the property management, and shiesty maintenance staff diminish the value of this well-placed building. I have been fighting to get the refrigerator replaced in my unit for months now. There are other issues, but this example evinces a clear disregard for resident needs. I have lived in this apartment

Ineffective pest control. Roach problem is out of control in the building.They don't communicate when pest control is a no show or cancels. Do better. It has gotten better but communication still lacking . No communication on emergency situations like a pipe leak . Gaslighting about non attempted communication instead of accountability.

I am resident at Silver Spring House Apartments. I am so excited! Ms. Renee Morris is AMAZING! She contacted me to confirm my move-in date and has made move-in process seamless. Mr. Christopher Littleton is also AMAZING. He did my walk through with me and guided me through all the necessary steps for an efficient move-in. I am so grateful and thankful for Ms. Morris and Mr. Littleton and them welcoming me to my new home and new community.
