Be cautious before signing a lease here. Communication about repairs on property were slow if even existent. Office staff rarely had answers and if they did give one, it often turned out inaccurate or untrue. Upon leaving after issues with water leaks, roaches, and scorpions INSIDE the apartment, I was told my deposit would be returned only later to be told there was damage. I wasn't afforded the opportunity to join their inspection nor provided details on what the damage was. I was also charged a cleaning fee even though I had the apartment professionally cleaned upon move out. When questioned, I was told it was in my lease. I read through what I had signed and there was no mention of a standard fee regardless of the condition nor was there any addendum that stated this fee. The property
I've Lived here for almost 6 years now and it has been great place to live at. Have only had to contact maintenance 3 times over the 6 years. Once for the a/c drain needing cleared, once for a faucet needing replaced, and once for the front door not closing properly. Each time they came and fixed it within 24 hours and never had a problem with any of it again. It's also located in the best part of Bryan. This is the only place I've lived at since moving to BCS in 2020. Super friendly staff even with staff changes over the 6 years too.
I currently still live here and would not recommend living here. The maintenance team, aside from like one employee, can’t seem to fix anything I submit issues on. I have submitted 10 work orders over the past few months on various things from a broken garbage disposal, which took 4 alone because no one showed up for the first 3, to my A/C not being able to keep my apartment below 80 degrees. A guy came out 3 separate times for my A/C and couldn’t get it working properly. One of the times the employee told me he was gonna go outside and check the unit and just never came back. I have resorted to calling the emergency number twice now for my A/C and still my apartment gets as hot as 76 degrees. I was even told by one employee that whoever was coming before him was actually making the matter
Over the past two years living here, we’ve dealt with a number of maintenance, communication, and documentation issues that were brought to different members of management’s attention multiple times. When we learned there was a new property manager, we were hopeful things might improve, but unfortunately, our recent experience has been just as disappointing. While moving out, we tried to have an open conversation and reach a fair agreement about our notice being given a week late, as well as address some of the ongoing issues we had experienced. Instead, the new manager made it seem as though that because she wasn’t here for a majority of those problems, they weren’t her responsibility. That kind of attitude is really disheartening and shows a lack of accountability or willingness to work
If I could give 0 star, I would. Do not be fooled by what the leasing office tells you. I was told twice by the staff that the carpet in every unit is replaced after a tenant moves out. That was a major reason I signed the lease. After moving in, I discovered that the carpet was not new at all. I found a pile of dried, used contact lenses which is just disgusting. I guess this means they didn’t even do basic, very basic cleaning. Considering how much they charge you as “cleaning fee” after you move out this is crazy. The management later admitted it was a “miscommunication” and refused to do anything about it except offer to waive a cleaning fee when I move out. It doesn’t stop there. My balcony door lock has been broken since I moved in, creating a safety issue. The office told me it was
