Shuster Homes-RWS Development

I recently built a house with Shuster homes. We dealt with Chrissy Shuster and she was very nice to deal with and had open and quick communication throughout the whole process. We are very pleased with our new house and could not be happier. What we liked most about Shuster homes is that they gave us the ability to customize our home the way we wanted it. We did not find that freedom with other builders. Shuster was definitely the right decision for us!

The build quality is outstanding, no shortcuts, a poured foundation, 2 x 6 walls, quality products, etc. Our contacts at RWS/Shuster's from start to finish were Chrissy Shuster and Dan Kalp. They explained everything from start to finish; they were easy to get in touch with, and all concerns were answered immediately. Always friendly and very helpful. Now the workers building our new home were also, very friendly, responsive and answered questions immediately. Needless to say, I was not worried about this build, I had satisfaction knowing it would be done right. We built a ranch home. My advice, look at the architectural plans very closely, such as size of rooms etc. We knew the kitchen was going to be a gathering point and some of the designs limited the kitchen table area. We had a flawless experience working with everyone at Shuster Homes. From beginning to end, every project manager, subcontractor, contractor, and construction worker were so attentive, kind, helpful, and responsive. Any concern is immediately addressed. The stigma of fear to build ends with Shuster Homes. We are so lucky to have had them build our dream home!

My husband and I purchased a Shuster patio home at the Villas at Cedar Creek. We could not be happier with our home, especially the quality, and how easy RWS was to work with. After a year of searching the South Hills area of Pittsburgh and buying a wrong condo for us all indications kept bringing us back to Shusters Villas. They tell you upfront that they don’t do the driveways and landscaping which is more involved and of course a known added cost. The subcontractors are excellent speaking with 43 years of construction experience. We were last minute buyers on the unit we wanted and maybe missed having a meeting with our contractors who may have had some suggestions on additional lighting and switching options. The only item I can fault Shuster’s for is the bottom of the line Andersen windows. If I’m buying a house-Villa in this price range I would like better window options. But overall a well built house-Villa in a great area and neighborhood!
