I want to like it here but with everyone paying an $80/month amenity fee for internet, a barely useable gym, and a small pool open for a few months - I dont understand why dog trash cans can’t be emptied, why you need to send many emails a week about picking up packages but can’t clean snow. Also why are there no lights in the parking lot??? And why are pathways and dog areas not lit either? It feels like I have to comply with so many things yet management takes zero accountability for anything and has zero desire to make this a welcoming community where residents are valued. Sherry Lake has been fine for now. I love my apartment and my issues have been addressed. However I am deeply disappointed that I've been here for only 9 months and they are increasing my rent for next year when there haven't been any real improvements. I was told by a neighbor that they increase your rent every year but offer a worse apartment so that they can get new people into the good apartments, and so on. So my option is to move out of this apartment and into a worse apartment if I want to keep the same price. It's really disappointing especially during these difficult financial times. I'll probably be leaving next year because I find this practice to be shady and dishonest.

I’ve really noticed a positive change at Sherry Lake. Maintenance is quick, professional, and keeps me updated, and the new management has brought much better communication and faster responses. It feels like they truly care about the community now. Very happy with the improvements!

Been living here for a year 1/2 and it's been the worst experience I ever had renting from a company. For starters after one year they raised my rent over $200 per month which is completely immoral and completely ridiculous. That being said, I've had constant issues with my air conditioning and after being told repeatedly for months since the beginning of July still has not been worked out. The bandaid fix of putting a window AC in my office room has fallen short on the hot days of summer and it's now almost October. Lets hope my heat holds up for the winter My dish washer has been broken for quite sometime and hasn't even been looked at. Maintenance sucks. Slow to repair and overall seems incompetent. Overpriced for mediocre amenities. Lots of rules, but when there's an issue, emails and phone calls go unnoticed. Happy my lease was up.
