I want to give a huge shout-out and a heartfelt thank you to the Management team at Setauket Knolls for the incredible job done during this week's blizzard. The snow removal company does an outstanding job, and management truly goes the extra mile by having them return to clear parking spots where vehicles were initially parked or any sidewalks needing an additional pass. There is always such genuine care and concern for everyone’s safety and mobility here. Beyond the main crews, our Superintendent Ian and Assistant Superintendent Chris were out personally assisting tenants with shoveling out their cars and ensuring every surface had ample ice melt. I have had the pleasure of calling Setauket Knolls my home for a little over a year now, and I can confidently say that it has been a truly wonderful experience. From the very beginning, I was impressed not only by the beauty of the property itself but also by the dedication and professionalism of the team that manages and maintains it. Bob, the property manager, deserves special recognition for his leadership and commitment to ensuring that residents feel comfortable and well cared for. Drove through the complex recently as a prospective renter and tenant in the area and wasn’t impressed with the condition of the buildings. Several of the dormers and exterior structures looked visibly water-damaged or deteriorated from the outside, which made me question how well the property is being maintained overall. I also noticed two vacant units with open blinds while doing a quick walk around the premises, and the interiors did not look modern or “recently renovated” despite the prices they’re asking (they still have dated white appliances and white formica countertops as opposed to stainless steel appliances and quartz countertops which are the standard in all renovated apartments I’ve seen in many other complexes) —Sure, they are advertised as being larger apartments and maybe t

I'd rate this place 0 stars if I could... Setauket Knolls prioritizes vacancies over current residents. Not to mention the current property manager, Bob Cole makes the former property manager Mary Corbo look like a SAINT in comparison (and I thought she was NASTY and RUDE). All the buildings are in decay but to show he cares about "curb appeal", Bob puts up illuminated signage and gets new dumpsters instead of putting care into the appearance of the actual buildings themselves (which are very poorly maintained and visibly weathered). It also speaks volumes seeing him sign off on other reviews with the name of the complex spelled as "Setauket Knowles" instead of "Setauket Knolls". If my job wasn't close by I'd have moved from here a long time ago.
