The new management company is just as bad as the old one. Back in April I caught 7 mice in one week.( I have photos) I asked them why don’t they have an Exterminator, they said they were getting one soon but yet they was Beautifying the front with a new flowers the new mulch meanwhile the residents inside are living with mice and roaches. They have no respect for anything that you went through living in those horrible conditions. They promise anything to you and don’t follow through. I have been having the same issue going on three weeks now and still no one has answers. I even contacted the corporate office and he promised to resolved the issue and nothing. I used to live here. Years later some apartments still have the old wall-mounted heaters. Years ago maintenance stopped and didn't complete the 7th floor of building 5535. I was recently visiting and seen a few old wall-mounted heaters not completely attached to the wall and black mold inside where the air blows out. The windows need replacing because after it rains the water does not go out like it should and it is building black mold and green fungus on this inside. The wall vent in the kitchen and bathroom have openings on the side because the vent cover was not measured correctly beforehand. I have cleaned for residents that live in this community and I noticed they don't get out much which is due to the black mold. Black mold is deadly and will cause serious health problems. Also I kn

So since no one has posted a review in at least a year I'll give it a go. There is no better place to live for the money you pay. I pay under 1k that includes all utilities with a roommate and for that we get a pretty spacious apartment. Yes it is true, the people running out in the hallways make a lot of noise that comes into the apartment and also there is some noise from the connecting apartments but it is manageable. Hallways always smell of Indian food, which can get gross. Parking is not a problem. Pool is nice. Management has changed recently and they are very nice and helpful. From beginning of lease to end of lease it was night and day. 1: at the beginning of my lease there were no roaches, at the end of my term there were roaches in the downstairs laundry room and extending all the way up to the 5th floor. 2: when we moved in, some of my tiles were rotten, when we moved out, most of my tiles were rotten, during that time, only 12 tiles we're maintained out of 300 plus tiles in the entire unit 3: my first roommate was white, my second roommate was black, do you think they respected us when the second one was black. I tried to look at Serrano positively for my first months living here, but now at the end of my lease I can't wait to leave. Management is slow to respond on serious issues, staff sometimes has an attitude when you're trying to address problems, and the building itself is not maintained. We've had multiple packages stolen from our doorstep because building policy has changed and they stated they won't hold large packages anymore. We went without hot water for an extended period of time. The back entrance's door handle was knocked off, replaced, and knocked off again, leaving the whole back entrance inaccessible. To offset this, the back door is often left completely unlocked and open, which is a huge safety concern. It's been like this for months. We spoke to management over a week ago bec
