My experience so far has been phenomenal. They have walked me through each step of the home purchasing process, have been responsive, respectful, and patient. I am looking forward to getting started with the build and will keep you all updated.

Make sure that you have your septic system/well details laid out before you give the 2000.00 deposit. They will bait you in get the house laid out in a couple weeks but that’s a set in stone process. Due to the creek I was not able to put the house where originally planned. I was going to have to shift the house up 15 feet. Called and ask what we needed to do and was told we had to pay another 1000.00 if the original layout had to be move. Nothing but flags had been put out. Had we been told upfront, we should have the septic system laid out 1st this would have never happened. Now I receive an email being the contract was canceled, I owe another 1000.00 to cancel. What a screwed up company. There definitely a reason they weren’t in business for a few years! Buyer/builders beware!

Alyssa is wonderful but otherwise I would never trust this is company to build a house. Owner is unresponsive when issues arise. Process is much slower than other companies. Highly recommend Schumacher homes or American home place… you won’t regret it

I highly would NOT recommend Sedgewick homes. My wife and I just finished our first home with them and it has been a total nightmare to say the least. In what should have been an exciting time with our first home has been anything but. Everything from the sales process to the construction process has not went smooth with them. We signed our contract in June of 2018 and finished in August of 2019. It took them 8 months from the time we signed our contract with them until they broke ground on construction. Then took them 6 months for construction. The company lacks communication throughout the whole company. If you asked the salesperson something they had to relay the question through several people before you could get an answer. They had numerous excuses throughout the whole proces

Have not been overly impressed with the reply that I got when I asked a question. Very vague and evasive. Hope they can find the right people for the job. I think this comes down to the fact that the American skilled labor workforce has disappeared.
