Sedgefield Apartments has truly felt like home from the moment we moved in. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. It really feels like family here. The community is quiet, peaceful, and well kept, and the amenities make day to day living so much easier. I also have to give a special shout out to Kevin from Maintenance. He does not come to play. He handled my work order quickly, made sure everything was done right, and even took the time to explain a few things to help me going forward. He is professional, knowledgeable, and honestly one of the best maintenance techs I have ever met. My apartment itself is beautiful. I asked for the biggest unit and baby it is BIG. Super spacious with plenty of storage and a cozy back patio that I absolutely love. I could not be happier with the lay

Although I had Serious Doubt upon moving in, with a Lot of my Own Elbow Grease & Loads of help from an Awesome Maintenance Man my apartment has become a home. These are older construction with both positive & negative factors. I feel completely safe & comfortable. If you’re looking for a new, picture perfect , cookie cutter place then these aren’t for you. If you want a safe, family friendly environment & enjoy making a place your own then these are definitely for you. I appreciate the large kitchen, huge island, wood cabinets, updates windows and a nice balcony. The two playgrounds, outdoor grills, 2 pools and being next door to the Jeffries Creek Park keeps my family busy. It took some time but I’m pleasantly surprised to call Sedgefield Home.

This has to be the worst roach infested apartment complex. Pest control will show up, spray only in the kitchen and leave. The water is always being shut off for repairs. I have only been here a few months and things are getting worse . $1325 plus renters insurance you would think these apartments would be in better shape and updated. I’m planning on seeking to talking to the building board in Florence County because they won’t let you out the lease unless you pay $2600 and this place is uninhabitable dealing with roaches everywhere. These bug are really causing health issues. I see why people move in then move out. Mrs Gina is a sweetheart and with her kindness this is not the place she should be representing. Much to my surprise, after several hiccups things are great. These are older apartments that require some elbow grease and revamping to make them your home. After some paint and tiles the kitchen with the large island looks great. The layout makes the apartment appear much larger. This is a family neighborhood, with playgrounds and pools. The yards are kept up well and maintenance responds promptly. The office staff is very helpful and some actually live on the property ( says a lot). I’m comfortable and secure living here. This is a great place to live, just like most things if you put forth an effort you won’t be disappointed.

If I could give ZERO stars, I would. This “apartment community” was an absolute disgrace, and the management should be ashamed to call themselves professionals. The leasing office and staff were grossly negligent, unprofessional, and completely indifferent to residents’ safety, privacy, and comfort. I always paid my rent on time, yet my maintenance requests were ignored for MONTHS. I had a work order for my sink open since MAY 2025 — almost SIX MONTHS — and it was never fixed. My air conditioning broke in March, and it took WEEKS of pleading before anyone even showed up, leaving me in sweltering, unsafe conditions. Meanwhile, maintenance repeatedly entered my apartment WITHOUT NOTICE — violating my lease and my rights — and, unbelievably, they even brought their CHILD into my apartment w
