Scenic Station Apartments

Despite smoking apparently being banned, my apartment stunk like an ashtray. I had a contract to live at Scenic Station for a year before I eventually moved into a house. The single-bedroom apartment I had was nice, and the apartment complex has good amenities. Nice pool, plenty of parking, courteous staff. But this place isn't perfect, not by a long shot. Like I said earlier, the unit I had smelled horrible; the stink of cigarettes was in the carpet, but I didn't know this when I signed the lease because I was shown a different unit because this one was still occupied. Definitely shady behavior. My friends gagged when I invited them over for the first time, and I ran fans and kept air fresheners running all the time. Besides that, the location is awful. If I could put negative stats I would. Do not live here the people that run this place are shady crooks. I moved in with a girl I don’t know who put an ad on Facebook she had been there for almost a year was about to be evicted and needed a roommate. The apartment was very damaged when I moved in, the apartment manager was aware of the damage and knew it wasn’t mine and had told me the girl had went through several roommates and even got into a fight with the roommate before me. Anyways one day this girl got in my face and hit me I hit her back I called the security to ask for advice as the girl was young and I don’t want her new in trouble but she called the cops and there was a court case I moved out and I got a lawyer. This place was not to bad overall, the office staff Cindy is wonderful and the Maintenance team was too. But if you’re looking for a “safe” place to stay I don’t think I’d recommend this place. When we first moved it looked like someone tried kicking the door down so we had the crew come put in 3in screws, then it happened again! I didn’t feel safe sleeping or leavening my house unattended. Overall it wasn’t too bad.

Moved into an apartment that was supposed to be brand new feeling with new floors, full paint job and very clean. Cindy said she completed the walk through and everything looked great. My shower drain is not even attached, there was mold in almost every doorway and vent. I put a picture of the awful master bedroom toilet that they did not bother to check. Maintenance guy was nice enough to clean it but I have spent over an hour now just cleaning the mold and grout all over the house. Really disgusting I would recommend being present for the walk through

They do not have enough parking at all. Management has never resolved the problem. You will have to park two miles away from your apartment building where you parked illegally or you will have to park in there parking lot illegally where they put a sticker that is impossible to get off your car. In addition, there is always homeless people running around on your lovely two mile walk. They will not even consider doing sticker resident parking. Mostly because they still wouldn't have enough parking for residence not to mention there guest 🤦‍♀️ it's to the point where I'm afraid to leave my apartment for fear of not having parking when I get back.
