I had an amazing experience leasing my new apartment at Rye Sobo, and I can’t say enough great things about Evelyn and Valerie. From start to finish, they were professional, patient, and incredibly communicative throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all of my questions, walked me through each step clearly, and made what can sometimes feel like a stressful process smooth and manageable. I truly appreciated how responsive they were and how willing they were to work with me to make sure everything was handled properly. Their support, transparency, and dedication made a huge difference. If you’re looking for a team that genuinely cares and goes the extra mile, Evelyn and Valerie at Rye Sobo are the best. Thank you both for helping me secure my new home!
I’ve had a really positive experience living at Rye Sobo. Valerie made the application process simple and easy to navigate, which took a lot of stress out of moving. Evelyn has been consistently helpful, responsive, and professional. They’re great at what they do and genuinely care about the residents — they’re truly outstanding staff. The location is another big plus. The light rail is close by, making it easy to get downtown or to the airport. There’s also a large dog park and grocery stores within walking distance, which makes everyday life really convenient. Everyone here — including my neighbors — has been kind and friendly. Overall, it’s been a great place to live.
Whatever you do, don’t move here. This used to be a great place to live when we had a management company that actually cared, and now that Greystar has taken over, it’s gone to crap. I was going to refrain from writing a review to give management the benefit of the doubt, but after reading a recent review, my blood is boiling. For starters, that actual unit itself is great and has everything we need. However, that doesn’t mean anything when the building itself feels extremely unsafe. The parking garage has been broken since November 17th (it’s now January 12th), and unhoused people have the ability to hang out in the stairwells, and apparently even residential floors based on another review (in which there has apparently been an in-unit STABBING). I took my trash out around midnight two w
Now there are 3/4 EV chargers down. For probably 20-30 residents that drive EVs. I’ve been complaining for over a year that one are down with constantly closed work orders saying they’re working on it. Seriously guys, the amount of people getting EVs have doubled since I’ve lived here they’re insane and each one needs charging every 2-3 days. Get the company out here to fix it already!!!!! I’m so sick of it. You charge for parking yet our garage door doesn’t work and neither do our chargers. While they come out, have them install 6+ more chargers because we need them. A neighbor unplugged my car the other day to charge his car and left me with 14 miles. I’m an on call doctor, if I got called into work without a charge it seriously could be a matter of life or death. Take this more seriousl
I’m honestly pretty frustrated writing this, but something needs to be said. We pay a premium to live here, and part of that is for amenities and basic upkeep—which right now is clearly not being delivered. The current state of the trash situation is completely unacceptable. It’s overflowing to the point where it’s spilling out into the room and hallway, creating a smell that carries through the entire floor. It literally looks like a pileup of garbage with no system or urgency to fix it. We shouldn’t be living next to what feels like a landfill. This isn’t just inconvenient, it’s unsanitary and reflects a serious lack of management. On top of that, we’re paying $100 a month for parking, yet the garage security is clearly not being maintained. The garage door has been broken, and it’s al
