Ryan Homes at Brighton Townhomes

They build houses that will last a longtime and they r overpriced like crazy! I don't ever see myself spending 450k for a townhome! That’s insane, our family home that is a standalone house we got it back in 2000 and we paid 2$ for it ! Oh btw the construction workers here love to beat their hardhats on the ground till they crack. Things that make you go hmmm.

This is our second purchase from Ryan Homes. Back in 2009, we purchased a home at Village of Spring Ridge in Swedesboro NJ and were so pleased with the process and quality of our build, Ryan was the first builder that came to mind when we decided to move to Delaware. Fast forward to 2022, we decided to move to Middletown DE and started looking in the area. We came across the Brighton Townhomes and loved the location, floorplans and immediately scheduled an appointment with Mike Suydam, who became our salesperson. Mike was great. He informed us of all of the options and upgrades available but never pressured us to select changes that weren't necessary for our soon to be new home. Ryan homes Office Managers don't act professionally. There is no communication about the closing date. Suddenly one day they sent the threatening email about cancellation of contract and taking all money paid so far, No proper reason. Even 20 days after receiving the letter now, they haven't provided settlement date officially yet. They try to force you to work with their own lender. Their lender charges you heavily and quote higher interest rates.

Mike Suydam is the best. He was a huge part of our decision to purchase our home. Mike ws very welcoming and never came off as bothered by any of the many questions we had. He was very patient with us and was always available to us throughout the entire process. We are very happy with our experience and our purchase. Mike, we can't thank you enough for being an AWESOME go-to person! You made our decision to purchase our home so much easier! We appreciate you!
