I reached out to Rosado Custom Homes to inquire about a quote for installing a 1/2 bathroom in our basement. Sight unseen over the phone Victor quoted me $30,000-$40,000. He insisted we would have to drill into the concrete for plumbing due to the bathroom being below-grade of the sewer line and said that toilets with an ejector pump would not work because of "gravity". This is false, as one can easily go purchase a toilet with an ejector pump that can pump vertically between 16-29 feet, and we have a sump pump installed in our basement already that has no issues pumping water straight up and out of the ground, despite "gravity." I'm not sure if he thought he could take advantage of me because I am a woman, or if he does this to all of his customers, but it was very clear during our conver
